Governing Body
VHAM is govern by the Governing Board which is
re -elected after every 2 years. The Governing Board of VHAM functions through the Executive Secretary who is appointed by the Board.
The Executive Secretary functions with the whole team mentioned in the structure of VHAM. Each Staff has assigned roles and responsibilities. The core Staffs consist of the Executive Secretary, the Senior Programme Officer, the Senior Accountant, one Programme Assistant, and the Medical Officer. The various projects in the organization are coordinated by the core staff according to their capacity, experience, and interest. The Governing Board assigns the Coordination task to the Core staff whereas the rest of the Project Staff is selected by the Executive Secretary with the consultation of the Governing Board and the Assigned Coordinator of the Project. In cases where the Core Staff is overloaded with responsibilities, The Governing Board will select a Coordinator from among the existing Staff or call for an interview for a new coordinator who will be appointed on a contractual basis.
